Velvetique Games is an independent game studio based in the United States, which is currently run by one weirdo named Stephen. That’s me! Although I prefer you refer to me as ‘Velvetique’.

Really? Okay, sure.

I am a person who has been greatly interested in both technical things as well as creative passions. I have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and I’ve done off and on freelance graphic design work since I was a teenager, primarily working with small businesses and independent game developers online (you may wish to check my commissions page if you want to learn more). I also enjoy writing, drawing, 3D modeling, and making music.

My dream is to live a life where I am constantly solving interesting problems and expressing myself creatively. Making games so far has been the one thing I can do that marries both of these desires.

Velvetique Games is all about making unique, stylish, and distinct games that tell interesting and memorable stories in whatever genres suit them! I do not like the idea of making only one kind of game, so expect quite a variety of projects!
